The incident caused the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the multi-storey parking facility.

Two individuals are now facing charges related to a luggage theft where a suspected capsaicin spray resulted in harm at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and charges for administering a noxious substance, according to official statements.

The charges follow an probe of an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Before the assault occurred, two female travelers had their luggage stolen after getting out of a parking garage elevator, police said.

A three-year-old girl was one of the people hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to a medical facility and were later discharged.

The incident – which authorities stated was not part of a series and deemed non-terroristic – caused disruptions to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
