Trump's Family Member Gets Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf First Appearance

Young golfer preparing for major competition

The rising star boasts impressive online presence

The young golfer can count on numerous high-profile backers as she makes her first LPGA appearance later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, obtained a special exemption to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, owns multiple golf courses and frequently matches against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she revealed.

Kai explained that Trump, unable to come, told her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"He basically advised me to play and enjoy myself," she added.

"To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."

As an amateur, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions in 2024 and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

Yet she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He stands as the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He suggested me to play, relax, following whatever happens."

She'll challenge multiple the biggest names in women's golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence brings golf to new audiences, specifically with youth audiences.

The social media influencer has millions of followers and has started her own clothing and lifestyle label.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
