American-Palestinian Teenager Freed Following Nine Months in Israel's Imprisonment

A American-Palestinian youth who spent 270 days in imprisonment by Israel without being charged gained freedom.
The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim had just turned 15 when he was arrested this past winter within the occupied West Bank, where he was visiting while residing in Florida under suspicion of rock throwing at Jewish settlers, claims he consistently denied.
United States authorities applauded Mohammed's liberation.
Now sixteen years old, was taken to hospital right after being freed, family members reported.
Family described him as pale, underweight, while battling health issues acquired while detained.
In a statement, family spokesperson expressed the family's "tremendous relief".
The uncle, Zeyad Kadur stated the family experienced "enduring a dreadful, continuous nightmare" over the last nine months.
"Currently, we are focused on ensuring Mohammed receives urgent medical care necessary for his recovery after experiencing Israel's abuse and inhumane conditions over several months."
American authorities announced ongoing to provide consular support to the teenager's relatives.

A group of American legislators endorsed a document to the state department and the administration, demanding more be done to release him.
Mohammed's parent, a father-of-four who runs an ice cream business from Florida, previously claimed his son only confessed regarding stone throwing due to physical abuse.
The father hadn't visited nor direct contact following the detention, and only heard what had happened to him via legal paperwork.
Mohammed was held without charge within Ofer penitentiary throughout the occupied territory.

An estimated 350 Palestinian minors in security custody currently imprisoned in Israel, based on prison authority data.

Following Mohammed's release, family representatives announced the family would also continue fighting for justice for his cousin their cousin Sayfollah.
