Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Due to Fracture in Windshield

A jet transporting the US defense secretary was required to make an unplanned landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the jet's front window, as stated by an official statement which confirmed that the secretary was unharmed.

"The aircraft landed following standard procedures and everyone onboard, including Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," a spokesperson said in a public statement.

He was traveling back from a brief trip to Brussels at the time.

This event is not the initial instance that a American defense plane ferrying a senior official has experienced equipment failures.

In a previous incident this year, a US Air Force plane transporting the US Secretary of State to the German city of Munich was forced to return to Washington DC after suffering a mechanical fault.
