This sun-drenched foodie getaway, located at a riverside villa in the central Algarve, is inspired by the plant-based cuisine of renowned chefs. Participants will learn to produce selection of small dishes, take part in a falafel-making workshop, refine brunch dishes such as shakshuka, and make substantial main courses such as a rich mushroom stew and moussaka. The schedule includes visits to the village market and a nearby winery to sample local vintages, plus free time for strolls by the nearby river, to relax on the terrace or take a dip in the pool. The villa, a former farmhouse, has multiple rooms, plus glamping tents in the grounds.

Hip Hop Don’t Stop is an energizing, welcoming three-day dance intensive for adults in High Wycombe. The format each day is a high-energy warm-up session, followed by three 90-minute classes covering different street dance styles, then an 60-minute jam to demonstrate those solos. Dancers are split into levels according to ability and experience, so it is suitable for those who are brand new to street dance, all the way to experienced performers or teachers. Writer and lecturer Greg Mosse leads the daily workshops on this authors' getaway. He explores everything from plot, characters, locations and tension, to submitting work to agents. A co-host, the bestselling author Kate Mosse, will participate in special sessions at the beginning and end of the week. The holiday is held at a village-style hotel in Vamos at the foot of the Lefka Ori – 10 one- and two-bedroom cottages surround a garden and pool (companions are welcome to come along).
